Air Filtration
What to Know
The quality of the air your wine is stored in can affect the condition of the bottles, labels and corks. Cases of wine previously stored in high humidity places may have mold. During transport, mold spores can get disturbed and may be in the air. Constantly filtering will hinder the growth of mold or mildew.
At Horse Ridge Cellars
To combat this, we clean up the bottles and seal them in new boxes to keep your bottles safe. Even though spores can end up into the air – we filter it and circulate clean air throughout the building. By clearing the air, HRC provide a clean, fresh environment for aging wine.
Remember – the facility was designed to filter nuclear fallout from a bomb blast!
